Our silhouette hardback lampshades are made by hand in the U.S.A. with high-quality styrene and metal rings. That is coated in a tarnish-resistant lacquer. We’re so proud of our product that we stamp our name right on the metal washer.

Lampshades are measured using Top Diameter x Bottom Diameter x Slant Height in inches. Slant Height is the distance from the top ring to the bottom ring measured in a straight line. Typically, your lamp’s harp should be 0.5” to 1” shorter than the vertical height of the lampshade (measured from the top ring straight down), though this may vary depending on the design of the shade and the design of the lamp.
