Return Policy Details

  • All return authorizations are handled through email, no verbal returns will be authorized under any circumstances.
  • Authorized returns will only be accepted within 30 days of your original carrier-reported order arrival date.
  • Item(s) must be shipped back within 7 business days of RMA receipt.
  • Return/Exchanges: If you wish to have a different item, we require returning the original item (you can request to be refunded with store credit) and contacting us to manually process the new order with credit. 
  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping charges and shipping from the original order will be deducted from the refunded amount. 
  • To expedite the return process in case of damages during transit, return authorizations will require a photo of the item(s). 
  • Returned products may be damaged during the return shipping process. It is highly recommended to insure your return shipment. Otherwise, any damaged item may be not be accepted and claim must be filled with shipping carrier.
  • If you received free shipping on your original order and your order with return items is under the free shipping terms when recalculated, original shipping charges may be applied to your order.
  • If items are not returned in with original wrapping, and/or in original packaging, your order may be subject to an additional 15% restocking fee.
  • royalLAMPSHADES.com is not responsible for any additional charges for products or services offered by the shipping provider.
  • Please make sure you are ordering the correct item or lamp shade style and size before ordering.
  • Due to the nature of the lamp shades, discrepancies in fabric color will not be accepted as defective when requesting a return authorization.
  • All custom products or lamp shades are not returnable.
  • Holiday Returns: Orders placed between Nov 10 and Dec 25 can be returned through Jan 10.

Return Process Explained

  • To initiate a return, please submit a request via our Contact Page with your order # and reason for return to receive an RMA prior to shipping back the item(s).
  • The email response indicating that the order has been acknowledged for return is the RMA Return Merchandise Authorization.
  • To ship back an item, you can use FedEx/UPS/USPS or other insured shipping service. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
  • Returns are only accepted within 30 days of delivery, and only at our approved return processing address, you will receive further information about this upon receiving a RMA.
  • All products must be returned in good condition, in original boxes, and with all paperwork, parts and accessories to ensure full credit. Lamp shades MUST be returned in original wrapping, restocking fees may apply.
  • Pack the item securely in the original package, if possible. Enclose the return portion of the original packing slip with the item.
  • Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package is returned to the warehouse.
  • Please be patient while we are processing your return request for an RMA (return merchandise authorization). You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase usually within 5-10 business days of receiving your return. Delays may be experienced in the case of incomplete returns.
