This Designer Hardback shade is the perfect conversational piece that comes in a variety of sizes. Note: These are made-to-order lampshades and may take longer than our in-stock lampshade to deliver due to the nature of the product.

Shape: Shallow Drum
Washer: Standard (0.5-inch recess) brass-finish spider fitter w/ trademark stamping. (Shades with 9”+ top diameter have a V-Notch fitter for use with a 6” or 8” reflector bowl)
Frame: Heavy grade rust-resistant metal frame. Thicker than typical standard lamp shades

I wanted something that wasn’t a traditional shade but still conservative. These shades are exactly what served my goal. They are light weight and arrived well packed.
As you can see my choice with light off and then with light on. Yes, they’re expensive. Some other reviews commented on the weight or thinness of the shades but to get the 2 types of look ,as shown ,they have to have some thinness. The pictures were taken late afternoon so they’re even more striking in the evening.
