How To Choose A Finial
The finial should mimic the base of a lamp or the finish (ex. a polished brass base should have a matching polished brass finial). In general, the finial you decide to go with, in large part, will always come down to personal preference. It is a minor, yet necessary, detail that can complement the lamp and the lampshade in a way that can pull the entire fixture together.
When shopping for a lamp, you may notice that some lamps come with a finial already attached while others do not. If the lamp you are considering does not come with a finial, don’t fret! You can always purchase one separately and easily attach it yourself.
If you are having trouble deciding which finial to choose, it is best to match the overall style and color of your finial to the same aspects of the lamp in question. If you want to get creative and choose a unique appeal, we offer a very large number of finials that range anywhere from simple, crystal finials to Valentine’s themed finials. No matter what you are looking for, it is important to keep an open mind because there is not one single way to approach choosing a finial. However, if you find yourself still stuck after trying the tips above, feel free to reach out to our customer support and we would be more than happy to help you out!
